Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Our Lady of Fat
It is with great pride, excitement, and anticipation that we welcome our families from Our Lady Fatima School, with open arms, to the 2024-2025 school year.
We would like to especially welcome, our new Fatima Bobcats and their families to our wonderful school community and we would like to sincerely thank you for allowing us to serve and teach your amazing children. The school and the classrooms are set up to reflect our 21st Century Learners. The custodians and staff have worked diligently at making both the school and classrooms warm and inviting for our students. This year we have some new and welcomed additions to our staff and student body and look forward to the new friendships and experiences they will bring to our caring environment.
Our Lady of Fatima School is a JK to Grade 8 English School offering educational opportunities within a caring and safe Catholic environment. The task of educating our children is not one that can be accomplished by the school alone. We need the support of you, the parents and guardians, the Community, and the Church, to provide our children with all of the opportunities they need to succeed. As parents, you play an important role in your child’s education. We look forward to working closely with you and value your partnership. Communication is both a valuable and important factor in student success. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
It is our goal to celebrate our rich diversity and create a learning culture that embraces the development of the whole child. Our school prides itself on encouraging all students to meet their academic, physical, and spiritual potential. We want them to explore and investigate their many God-given talents and gifts. We are proud to celebrate our Catholic Faith, traditions, and the spirit of giving that is created through many opportunities and relationships with our Faith community.
Our Mission is to provide a safe and respectful learning environment, based on Gospel values, so that students can achieve their full potential as lifelong learners and become responsible, caring, contributing members of Church and society.
Our Lady of Fatima School students are asked to:
- be responsible members of their school community;
- be understanding and respectful of others and their environment;
- be cooperative and work well with others;
- be enthusiastic and perform to the best of their ability.
Our mandate is large; the responsibility to our children cannot be taken lightly. Our Lady of Fatima School in partnership with you, the parents/guardians, will do its best to make certain that your children receive the highest possible quality of instruction.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Micheline Lamarche
